Nina Machen

March– Resident Spotlight

Nina has lived in our community for almost 2 years! She was born in Scottsboro, Alabama, and worked as a pharmacy tech for more than 25 years. She was married to her husband, Kenneth, for 26 years before he passed away, and together they had two daughters named Kim and Karen. A few years later, she ran into a childhood sweetheart, James Machen, and they were married for 16 years before he passed away. Nina is a big fan of Elvis! Her favorite color is blue, and one of her favorite foods is a peanut butter and banana sandwich. Nina thoroughly enjoys music, playing BINGO, card games, and being outside. She is one of the University of Tennessee’s biggest fans, and she proudly says “GO VOLS!”
