Eunice Jernigan

December – Resident Spotlight

Mrs. Jernigan is always one of the first participants to arrive at any activity, and she does everything with a smile. She is a very active member in our walking and reading clubs here at Rosewood. We love Mrs. Jernigan and how she is so sweet and kind to everyone. Eunice Jernigan was born on December 1st in Pelham, Georgia. She got married to her husband Saxon Jernigan, and then moved to Jacksonville, Florida. She and her husband were married for more than 50 years! They have three kids Bob, Charles, and Kathy. They also have 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Eunice worked as an executive secretary for more than 30 years, and her husband was in the Army Air Corps. Mrs. Jernigan enjoys camping, crosswords, and reading. She was a very active member in her church and loved to attend bible study and “ladies group.”
