Jarvin “Jay” Ross

Jay is a Dietary Aide who has only worked at Rosewood for 1 1⁄2 months. In that time he has really shown his heart and love for our residents. Jay enjoys helping people and lending a hand where it is needed. He is seen in the dining room showing residents to their seats, lending an arm to an unsteady resident and will also go to apartments and get those who may not be at the table. Jay has 12 children and nine grandkids. He enjoys having good quality conversations and said, “when these elders are talking we need to be quiet and listen.” When asked what he enjoys most about his job he said, “I come here for the residents. I am always thinking of what I can do better.” The residents stated that they all love him. Jay does more than what is asked and we are very appreciative. Congratulations Jay!
