Jeannie Crisson

Our first resident spotlight for 2024 is Jeannie Crisson. Jeannie has been a resident at Rosewood since September of 2023. She can always be seen with a smile on her face and a helpful hand outstretched. Jeannie retired from office work doing payroll. She enjoys growing flowers and making flower beds. When asked what activity she would like to do again, she said, “The sing-a-longs.” Jeannie has two daughters, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She loves being independent, but she said she loves the help offered by our care staff. She stated she loves the food and all of the staff are very nice. She said she hasn’t met one unkind person yet! What a sentiment as to how our residents and staff treat others.

Jeannie also enjoys it when the church groups come and we sing and worship. We have many church groups and performers who come to sing those old hymns that our residents enjoy. Some of Jeannie’s favorite things include roasted peanuts, talk shows and fruit pie! She is a shining example of what it means to stand out in the community and offer a warm smile and helping hand. Thank you, Mrs. Jeannie!
