Getting to Know You Social

Please join us in the Discovery Center for a fun social event! We will be getting to know our new Life Enrichment Department. We will play some fun icebreakers and enjoy some tasty snacks. Please stop by, even if for just a few minutes, and introduce yourself to Tori and Chloe.

Donut Party

June 3 at 3:30 pm

In honor of National Donut Day we will be celebrating with a wide variety of donuts in the Discovery Center! Please join us after the Sunshine Tour for some fun donut-themed games and of course enjoy some yummy donuts!

Gardening Week Party

June 9 at 2:30 pm

We are celebrating National Gardening Week! We will be planting small herbs and flowers for the residents’ rooms, playing fun garden themed games, and enjoying some fun snacks! If the weather is nice we will be outside in the courtyard next to the Discovery Center.

Father’s Day

June 17

We will be having a Father’s Day Celebration on June 17th. Come enjoy some good food and even better company while we celebrate all of the super dads in our community! Please be on the lookout for more information on this event.

Book Club

June 29 at 3:30 pm

We are going to start a book club for our residents at Rosewood. Our first meeting will be June 29th. At our first meeting we will discuss our book interests and decide on the book we will read in July. The first book will be provided for the residents who would like to participate. Tori will bring the book to you as soon as they come in.

Cookie Club

Tuesdays at 2:30 pm

Each week in the Discovery Center our residents will be able to spend time making cookies together. We are excited to share recipes and cookies with our residents and staff. Residents and their families are welcome to send or give their favorite cookie recipe to Tori for our club to make together. If you do send a recipe in, please include whose recipe it is. You can email the recipes to [email protected] or stop by Tori’s office to give her the recipe.

Introducing Rosewood Rubies

Tori is introducing a new incentive for participation in activities, Rosewood Rubies! They are a fake currency handed out as prizes for games or for participating in specific activities. On the calendar, you will see $$ next to certain activities. This symbol means that Rosewood Rubies will be given out at this activity. Each month, beginning in August, we will have the Rosewood Market. At this event, you can use your Rubies to purchase anything ranging from basic hygiene items and snacks to seasonal decorations and room decor. Tori will have a bag in her office for each resident to keep their Rubies in so they are not lost. Please reach out to Tori if you have any questions about this new incentive!
