Dr. Barkhuizen is a smiling face around Rosewood. Originally from South Africa, he moved to the United States in 1982. He’s lived in Michigan, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. He loved living in Florida because it’s always sunny and beautiful. After medical school, he practiced adult internal medicine for many years. He loved being able to help people and provide them with quality care. He enjoys watching the Braves or the Falcons as well as reading true crime books. One fun fact about him is he loves to go skydiving. He said it is really fun and exhilarating. We are all so grateful to be able to know you, Pierre. We love having you in our community!
