Men’s Club

April 1st at 1:00 pm

Calling all men! This is your time to meet and plan events/activities for the men at Rosewood. We need your help. Come to our first men’s club meeting on Monday, April 1st at 1:00 pm in the Discovery Center. Life Enrichment has some activities and events to present, but your opinion is always valued and we want this to be an outlet of fun and entertainment for all our Rosewood Men! After our initial meeting, we will meet every Monday at 1:00 pm in the Discovery Center.

PB&J Sandwiches

April 2nd at 10:30 am

Every Tuesday we have what is called “Tasteful Tuesday.” On this day we have a themed treat, according to the theme of the day or month. During this time we also learn about how our treat is made and how it became such an influential snack. Join us each Tuesday as we enjoy a treat and maybe learn something new.

Men’s Club Event

April 4th at 1:00 pm

The newly formed Rosewood Men’s Club will be taking their first monthly outing on Thursday April 4th at 1:00pm. Our men will be taking a trip to the Chickamauga/Chattanooga National Military Park to tour the Fuller Gun Exhibit. While we are at the museum we will also tour other places, if time permits.

Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

April 12th at 1:00 pm

Join Andrea Licon with Tapestry for a grilled cheese sandwich as we celebrate National Grilled Cheese Sandwich day. Andrea will be set up in the Discovery Center to serve all residents who want a grilled cheese sandwich. We will also learn about the grilled cheese sandwich and what makes it a beloved treat.

Lunch Outing to Jack’s

April 18th at 11:30 am

Our lunch outing for the month of April was chosen by Personal Care resident, Russell Earp. He chose Jack’s for our monthly meal as he says “Jack’s has the best of everything”. As always remember: 1) Only one non-transferrable wheelchair allowed. 2) Residents must pay for their own meal.

Spring Welcome with Kona Ice

April 23rd at 10:00 am

The weather is starting to warm up and spring is on its way! Life Enrichment couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the sunshine and warm weather than a nice refreshing Kona Ice! Cindy, Steve and their crew work so hard to provide this wonderful service to many events, schools, assisted living communities and others in both Catoosa and Walker counties. Let’s welcome Spring with a cool treat!!!

Resident Council Meeting

April 29th at 3:30 pm

On the last Monday of each month we hold our monthly resident council meeting. This meeting is an open invitation to all residents. Each director, or a representative of their department, joins during this meeting to address any concerns, provide updates on departments and take any questions residents may have. The meeting is held in the Discovery Center immediately following BINGO.
