Greg Pflug – Executive Director

“If there is one thing life has taught me, it’s when I am serving others I become more passionate and fulfilled. I truly feel that this is where the Lord lead me! So grateful for all our associates and all that they do to serve our residents and their families. I am extremely indebted to our owners and senior management for the trust they have given me as the Executive Director of Rosewood Assisted Living. It’s like coming home, I know so many of our residents already, and I look forward to sharing our future together. I remain committed to providing all of them with the care and love they so richly deserve!”

Cindy Romines – Business Office Manager

“I came to Rosewood in December of 2020. I felt lead by God to come to work here so that I could learn to love people again. I had never worked in health care before. I quickly fell in love with the residents, their families and just the people here. I do believe this is the most rewarding job I have ever had. There are so many people here that have a servant’s heart and have shown me what that looks like. The caregivers and nurses that give endlessly of their time and love and the sweet residents that live here are such a blessings and have shown me what love looks like.

Before I came here I worked for 14 years as an Administrative Assistant. I have worked other jobs where I learned to do everything that the job I am doing now requires. I like coming to work every day. I feel like I make a difference. I am married and am a mother and step-mother to 4 children and we have lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren. I feel like Rosewood is my second family and hope at I am here for years to come.” -Cindy Romines

Christy Blake – Community Consultant

“I was fortunate enough to share my great-grandfather’s life until he was 102 years old. As children, my brother and I loved to sit at his chair side and listen to all of his stories about “the good old days”. We were taught that our elders were to be respected and valued. So when it came time for my career path to take the direction of serving seniors, it was the natural progression that I would gravitate towards, choosing to serve seniors in my community. It has been my honor to have been working with seniors for many years and hope that I’ve become a resource in navigating others through their golden years”. – Christy Blake

Christy has been in sales and marketing for over 30 years and has a heart for serving others and assisting in navigating their paths towards better quality of life.

When not offering advice and assistance, Christy enjoys spending time with her daughter, Jessica, and son, Christian. She is blessed with a large group of friends and enjoys listening to live music and traveling. She refers to herself as a very active “pre-senior”.

Matthew Chandler – Maintenance Director

“I am from a very small town called Indian Mound, TN. Small town life as a child helped me understand the value of a skilled trade. Watching and helping my grandfather and father fix things was the beginning of why I love what I do. As a teenager, I would draw inspiration from another special person to me, Willard Ross. He was my high school basketball coach, and He challenged me to be better! Work Hard, Accountability, and when to shut up! His words still ring clear in my head today.

As good as I am with machinery and equipment, I feel like I am even better with people. I treat every day as an opportunity to impact someone’s life. i truly enjoy interactions with residents, family members, and our care staff. I come to work every day proud of what I do and ready to represent Rosewood and myself as one piece of a machine working in unison many others towards the same goal. Last but not least, the reason I get up in the morning. The reason I’m up late at night. The reason I never have time for myself. But frankly, I wouldn’t know what to do with it anyways, My Children. Emerson 15, Bailee 13, Hunter 6, Oliver 3. I’m passionate about-my career because I am passionate about everything in my life! I Love my family, my friends, and my job! And I’m willing to do anything for those that I Love. They are counting on me and if I don’t lead by example then they’ll follow someone else’s.” -Matthew Chandler

Kristal Williams – Life Enrichment Director

“I have worked in healthcare for 21 years. I started out as a CNA in 2004 and it quickly became a passion of mine. Working with the geriatric community is a profession that I am so blessed to be a part of. Often this age group are forgotten or misunderstood. I wanted to enter healthcare to show them that they are seen, valued, and loved. I was sent to Rosewood by the direction of the Lord and I have been blessed ever since. Being the Life Enrichment Director has shown me how I can still be a caregiver, but on a much broader level.

I have been married to my husband for 25 years and we share a daughter who is 17. In my free time I enjoy going to the Women’s Bible Study group at my church, reading, being outdoors, spending time with family and quite literally planning for my activities. I truly enjoy what I do and get in trouble all the time at home for always talking about work, but they offer me grace because they see the joy Rosewood has brought to me. I was in a dark place before my employment at Rosewood and the Lord has given me quite the testimony. But that’s a story for another day.” -Kristal Williams
