August- Employee of the Month

Lori has been a part of the Rosewood family for a little over two years now, working as a Dietary Aide in the kitchen. She helps prepare food, makes desserts, makes drinks, and serves residents. She always has a great attitude, and is willing to do whatever is needed to get the job done. She chose to work at Rosewood to meet new people and interact with residents. She is very patient and kind to all of our residents, and has been in food service for about 30 years working in various settings from restaurants to hospitals. She is an Air Force Veteran, and was a corrections officer at a jail in addition to her food service work.

She has three children and five grandchildren. One of her children has special needs, and requires a special diet which helped prepare her for her work here. Lori is a Jack of all trades. When she is not at the Rosewood, you can find her outdoors, reading, crocheting, doing cross-stitch, or working with her hands. We chose Lori because of her commitment to excellence as well as her great attitude and heart for the residents. Way to go, Lori! We greatly appreciate all you do.
