Nurses Week

May 6th – 12th

During this week, there will be many opportunities for residents and staff to show appreciation to all of our wonderful Nurses (and MedTechs). Life Enrichment has many activities planned that ARE NOT on the calendar (BECAUSE THEY ARE A SECRET…..SHHHHHH) So, be thinking about how you can show your Nurse/MedTech what they mean to you.

Peter Pan Day

May 9th

NEVER GROW UP DAY! Join Life Enrichment on Thursday, May 9th. We will be celebrating Peter Pan and his philosophy of Never Growing Up. We will be watching the movie, Peter Pan, eating treats based on the movie, and doing a Peter Pan Activity. Make sure to dress up as your favorite character from the movie!

Muffins with Mom

May 11th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

There will be a sign-up sheet for your loved one to join us for Muffins with Mom. We will have a spread of muffins and other refreshments, as well as some activities. This will be a wonderful time to spend with your loved ones. Please, join us as this is sure to be as wonderful as last year’s event!!!!

Lunch Outing to IHOP

May 16th at 11:30 am

Several residents have mentioned wanting to eat at IHOP. We heard all the suggestions and we are taking our lunch outing to IHOP! Join Life Enrichment for a stack of your favorite pancakes. If you do not like pancakes, they do offer many other food items you are sure to enjoy. It is always nice to enjoy lunch with friends and pancakes!

SUPER BINGO

May 25th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

We had such a great turnout from our December community BINGO, that we are going to repeat the event. If you love to play BINGO, come ready to play and enjoy some refreshments. We will have some great prizes and great fun! Word on the street is we have 20 in-house residents who love to play!

Spring Wellness Fair

May 29th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

On Wednesday, May 29th we will be sponsoring a spring fair. During this fair residents will enjoy booths with vendors selling food, crafts and more! We also have healthcare booths set up offering many health tips and giveaways. Join us for our first Spring and Wellness Fair!

Resident Council

May 29th at 3:30 pm

We will be having our monthly resident council meeting at 3:30 pm directly after BINGO. This month the meeting will be on the last Wednesday instead of the last Monday. This month Kristal would like to discuss summer calendar planning, concerning Life Enrichment Dept.
