Friends of the Zoo

Tuesday, February 1st from 9 am-10 am

Friends of the Zoo will be here Tuesday, February 1st from 9 am-10 am. Each month they bring a different animal and share information about it and how we can help ensure that they don’t go extinct. You may even get to hold or pet it if it is safe to do so. We can’t wait to see what they bring this month!

Chinese New Year

Friday, February 4th, at 2:30 pm

Celebrate the Chinese New Year with us Friday, February 4th, at 2:30 pm in the Discovery Center. We will have light refreshments and a game to celebrate this holiday with all residents.

Valentine’s Day Party

February 14th at 2:30 pm

Join us on February 14th at 2:30 pm in the Discovery Center for our Valentine’s Day Party. We will serve light refreshments and play games. If you are feeling spirited, bring your dance shoes and show us your moves!

Community Outreach

Every Thursday at 10:45 am

We have begun a community outreach program. It meets every Thursday in the Discovery Center at 10:45 am. This is an opportunity to get involved in the community and make a difference. If you have any ideas on outreach opportunities, please come to our weekly meeting.

Enlighten Program

All Month in the Pathways Unit

We will be officially kicking off our Enlighten program this month in our Pathways Unit. We’re excited to be partnering with the Weston Group to give our residents an individualized activity program that will promote their social and emotional well-being and make the everyday task more meaningful.
