Ringgold Christmas Parade

December 2nd at 5:45 pm

We will be loading up the Rosewood bus and joining the fun at the Ringgold Christmas Parade! Residents need to be in the Front Lobby at 4:15 pm to load up. There will be a sign-up sheet at the front desk. If you want to join do not delay signing up as there will be limited seating. Residents will be tossing candy to the crowd and just enjoying a night of fun for everyone!

Rosewood Christmas Parade

December 7th at 3:30 pm

We will be having a Rosewood Christmas Parade! The day will begin with decorating all wheelchairs and walkers at 10:30 am, followed by the parade at 3:30 pm. Come up with your most creative ideas and decorate, decorate, decorate! Bring your best holiday cheer and join us for this wonderful time.

NIGHTSHINE Tour

December 13th & 20th at 5:45 pm

On December 13th and 20th instead of the normal SUNSHINE tour, we will be taking a NIGHTSHINE tour. We will be going to see Christmas lights both nights so we get two nights of Christmas light joy. Everyone attending will need to sign up in the front lobby. Residents will be allowed to go twice if we have enough seats, however, if you go on the first night you are not guaranteed a spot on the second night. Don’t forget to grab your jacket or sweater!

Grinch Party

December 20th at 2:00 pm

Amy and Sabrina with Hearth Hospice will be coming to sponsor a Grinch Party. Everyone is invited to the Discovery Center to join us for a “GRINCH” of a time. The pumpkin party in November was such a great hit, this one is sure to be even better! Bring your heart three sizes TOO big and let’s see what fun these ladies have to show us this time. We will finish the party with a movie matinee of How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

Secret Santa Party

December 21st at 3:30 pm

On this day we will have a Secret Santa exchange. There will be wrapped gifts provided by Life Enrichment for everyone and everyone will choose a gift, then will draw the names of who the gift is to go to. Come and join us while we bring a smile to someone’s face in our Rosewood community this season.

Rosewood Christmas Celebration

December 23rd at 9:00 am

This day will be an all-day event that will allow us to celebrate Christmas with our Rosewood Family! We will be starting at 9:00 am with On This Day and ending with a music performance by Papa Sway. We will also be having a special reading of the Christmas Story and “Twas the Night Before Christmas.” There will be Christmas bingo, reindeer games, and cookies as well. Come and enjoy the day with us as we celebrate Christmas together.

“New Year” Countdown Party

December 30th at 3:30 pm

We will be having a New Year Countdown starting at 3:30 pm and ending at 4:00 pm. Throughout the day we will have New Year activities and we will finish the day with a New Year Countdown. We will have sparkling soda, snacks, and just all-around good fellowship. We will also learn about how Dick Clark’s New Year countdown came to be and how it became a household tradition for many.
