Watermelon Day

August 3rd, All Day

Join Life Enrichment as we celebrate Watermelon Day. We will begin the day with a watermelon history lesson and fun facts, then end the day with a Rosewood wide watermelon feast! Come out and celebrate with us as we enjoy America’s favorite summertime treat.

Zumba with Portia Knowles

August 9th and 23rd at 10:00 am

We will have Zumba class on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. Join Portia as she demonstrates the value of good movement and stretching! This is a workout everyone can enjoy. Come and bring a friend.

Sunshine Tours

August 15 at 1:00 pm

Our weekly Sunshine Tours are back on Tuesday August 15, 2023 at 1:00 pm! We will load up in the Rosewood van on most Tuesdays and Thursdays during the month to go to different destinations. There will only be space for three residents at a time, but we will have a sign up sheet for everyone who would like to go during the course of the month. Life Enrichment cannot wait to get back on the road with you all! At this time you must be able to transfer in and out of the vehicle without assistance. Van is not wheelchair accessible.

Rosewood Market

August 22nd and 25th at 1:00 pm

Join Life Enrichment for our monthly Rosewood Market where you spend those prized Rosewood Rubies. Come to the Discovery Center for personal items, household items, snacks, etc.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers Lunch

August 24th at 11:30 am

We will head to Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers for our monthly lunch outing. Freddy’s is a new restaurant near us, so come along and see what all the hype is about! Experience great food and fellowship.

Resident Council and Food Council Meetings

August 28th & 31st

Join Life Enrichment on Monday, August 28th, at 3:30 pm in the Discovery Center where we will discuss community updates, announcements and any concerns within our community. Join Conrad Gregory, our Food Service Director, on Thursday, August 31st, at 1:30 pm in the Discovery Center to discuss our food and dining experience. This meeting is for residents to address any concerns or give suggestions for dining at Rosewood. These meetings are for all residents and we especially encourage all new residents to attend.

August Birthday Party

August 31st at 3:30 pm

Meet us in the Discovery Center and Pathways for our monthly birthday party! This party will take place directly following BINGO. We love birthdays here at Rosewood and have some major ones coming this month. We have a resident that will turn 109! Come out and celebrate your fellow Rosewood Residents!
