Starting in the month of October through December, each Tuesday we will be having “Tasteful Tuesdays” where we eat and drink some tasty treats. As the holiday season approaches, we could not think of a better way to enjoy this time. Join in with us and enjoy some tasty treats.

Tuesday Trivia

Each Tuesday afternoon during the month of October we will be having trivia. We will have a different trivia theme each week. We have many trivia lovers at Rosewood, so this is your month. Come down to the Discovery Center and test your hand at some fun trivia. You never know, there may be a prize or two!

Friday Craft Corner

Starting in the month of October, we will be having “Friday Craft Corner.” Each Friday we will be taking some time to do some crafting. This activity will continue through December just like our “Tasteful Tuesday.” This weekly event is a great opportunity to create something to give to your family members for Christmas. It is hard to believe we are already talking about Christmas, isn’t it?

Lunch Outing to Cracker Barrel

October 12th at 11:30 am

Meet us in the front lobby on Thursday, October 12th at 11:30 am. We will be leaving the community to go enjoy some lunch at Cracker Barrel. As always, this will be a time of fellowship and great food. Cracker Barrel is one of the best places to do just that! So, make every effort to attend with us. The sign-up sheet will be in the resident information area at the front desk.

Day Trip to the Red Apple Barn

October 20th at 9:00 am

We will be leaving Rosewood to enjoy a day trip to the Red Apple Barn located in the beautiful town of Ellijay, GA. There will be a sign-up sheet explaining the details at the front desk (resident information area). Fried apple pies, dried apples, apple cider and more! Be prepared to walk and have fun.

Second Annual Reverse Trick or Treating

October 27th at 6:00 pm

We will be having a group of Sunday school children come to participate in our second annual Reverse Trick or Treating. Residents, if you want the trick-or treaters to visit you, you must be in your apartment with your door open. The children will knock on your door and bring YOU candy. This includes Pathways as well (the rules will be diff erent for Pathways residents). This was such a huge hit last year that we decided to make this an annual event!

Halloween Celebration

October 31st at 10:00 am

Join us in the Discovery Center and Pathways for a Halloween celebration beginning at 10:00 am. We will have all kinds of Halloween goodies and games for you to enjoy. Even if Halloween is not something you normally enjoy, come anyway because there will be something for everyone!
