World Day of Prayer Outside Prayer Walk
March 4th at 1:00 pm
March 4th is World Day of Prayer. We will be honoring the day with a prayer walk around the community. During our devotion times this year, we are focusing on strengthening our prayer life. There is no better thing we can do for one another and ourselves than pray. Join us as we take a walk around the community and spend time with our Heavenly Father.
“Cinco De Marcho”
March 5th at 10:30 am
Why not celebrate “Cinco De Mayo” twice in the year? We will be taking an Armchair Travel to Mexico as well as enjoying Mexican Finger Foods in honor of the day. Tuesdays are “Tasteful Tuesdays” and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate. If you love Mexico and Mexican cuisine, join us in the Discovery Center for a fiesta of a time!
New Resident Cookie & Tea Social
March 7th at 3:00 pm
On March 7th we will be meeting in the Discovery Center for our monthly new Resident cookie social. During these meetings, it is a time for our new residents and our seasoned residents to get to know each other. We also talk about all that we offer at Rosewood and answer any questions that the new residents may have.
Lunch Outing to Captain D’s
March 14th at 11:30 am
Our lunch outings are always a big hit with the residents. It gives the residents and Life Enrichment department a chance to spend a little extra one-on-one time with each other. Our residents have been asking for fish, so Life Enrichment is answering the call! As always our lunch outings are to be paid by residents.
Family Night
March 21st at 5:00 pm
We invite all residents and two family members to join us for our first family night of 2024. Our theme for the night is “We Are Lucky to Have You.” We couldn’t think of a better fitting theme than one of thankfulness. There is an RSVP form that will be available. Make sure to invite only 2 guests from your family. RSVP will be available soon.
Clover Coke Floats
March 22nd at 10:00 am
Jennifer Jolly with Gentiva Hospice will be at Rosewood to treat us with “Clover Coke Floats.” We will enjoy a little bit of that St. Patrick’s Day spirit as we enjoy green Coke and green treats. Our holidays do not have to be limited to just one day, we can celebrate them many times! As always, we thank our Hospice groups for taking the time to spread love to our community.
Resident Council
March 25th at 3:30 pm
On the last Monday of the month, we gather to have our monthly resident council meeting. This meeting is for all residents, whether new or seasoned. We have now combined food council and resident council in the same meeting. Also, all of our directors attend so they can update on old business and take note of new business. Last month was the best we have ever had! Please, join us each month for this important meeting!
